SO-W03 SERIES
SO-W03 high-precision K9 plane windows provide a flatter, more accurately parallel protective interface for imaging, metrology and aligned visible/NIR beam paths.
Product Overview
Engineering Guidance
Compared with the standard SO-W01 family, this series is intended for systems that are more sensitive to transmitted wavefront error, beam displacement and surface defects. Uncoated and broadband AR-coated variants cover common laboratory wavelength bands.
Review surface flatness, parallelism and surface quality together; diameter and coating alone do not define window performance. Mount with even perimeter support to avoid stress-induced distortion.
Custom substrate materials, dimensions, angular tolerances and coating bands can be reviewed for prototype and production quantities.
Technical Resources
Selection notes and practical guidance matched to this product family.
Understand how a plane-parallel window protects an optical path while controlling wavefront and beam deviation.
Compare spectral range, thermal stability, hardness and cost for common optical-window substrates.
Connect window tolerances to transmitted wavefront, wedge, scattering and mechanical integration.
