SO-P16 UV fused silica corner-cube retroreflectors return an incident beam toward its source over a broad range of input angles. They are suited to UV-visible metrology, interferometry, ranging, alignment and tracking systems requiring environmental and thermal stability.

Optical behavior
Select diameter and height for the beam footprint and mount, then verify total beam-deviation error, surface flatness, surface quality and dimensional tolerances. Coating choice determines whether reflection relies on total internal reflection or coated faces.
Selection and handling
Return-beam accuracy depends on the three internal dihedral angles; avoid mount stress that can distort the corner geometry.
