SO-W02 SERIES
SO-W02 high-precision UV fused silica wedge windows protect an optical path while directing parasitic reflections away from the incident beam.
Product Overview
Engineering Guidance
Fused silica extends the useful material choice into UV-visible systems and offers better thermal stability and lower fluorescence than K9. Uncoated and UV, VIS, NIR and SWIR AR-coated models support spectroscopy, fluorescence instruments, laser enclosures and detector windows.
Include the wedge direction in the mechanical drawing so the rejected reflection exits toward a controlled location. Select coating by wavelength and verify wedge angle, transmitted wavefront and clear aperture for sensitive beam paths.
Custom substrate materials, dimensions, angular tolerances and coating bands can be reviewed for prototype and production quantities.
