SO-P05 SERIES
SO-P05 quartz Brewster isosceles prisms are designed for polarization-sensitive beam handling near Brewster incidence. They can reduce reflection for p-polarized light and are used in laser cavities, polarization control and wavelength-dispersive optical experiments.
Product Overview
Engineering Guidance
Select by design wavelength, apex angle, diameter and thickness. The polished isosceles faces form the active optical path while the base is fine-ground, so mount orientation and polarization direction must be controlled.
The Brewster condition is wavelength- and material-dependent; verify the specified apex geometry against the intended refractive index and incidence angle.
Custom substrate materials, dimensions, angular tolerances and coating bands can be reviewed for prototype and production quantities.
