SO-L05 SERIES
SO-L05 K9 negative meniscus lenses introduce negative optical power with two curved surfaces, making them useful for beam expansion, focal-length adjustment and aberration correction in compound imaging systems. Their meniscus form can reduce off-axis aberrations compared with a simple negative singlet in the right orientation.
Product Overview
Engineering Guidance
Selection requires more than focal length: verify both surface radii, back focal length, center and edge thickness, and the sign of the listed dioptric power. Install the lens in the orientation defined by the optical design.
This family is intended for engineered multi-element layouts; reversing the lens can materially change aberration performance.
Custom substrate materials, dimensions, angular tolerances and coating bands can be reviewed for prototype and production quantities.
