SO-L15 SERIES
SO-L15 negative achromatic doublets combine two optical glasses to provide diverging power with substantially lower longitudinal chromatic aberration than a singlet. They are useful in broadband beam expanders, corrected relay groups and imaging systems that need negative power across visible or near-infrared bands.

The series includes multiple glass combinations and coating bands. Select by negative focal length and diameter, then verify back focal length, center and edge thickness, glass pair and coating range against the optical prescription.
A negative achromat is normally used as part of a compound system; evaluate it with the mating positive group rather than as an isolated imaging lens.
Custom substrate materials, dimensions, angular tolerances and coating bands can be reviewed for prototype and production quantities.
