SO-L14 SERIES
SO-L14 positive cemented achromatic doublets pair crown and flint glasses to reduce chromatic focal shift while retaining positive focusing power. The extensive model range supports broadband imaging, collimation, microscopy, machine vision and multispectral optical instruments.
Product Overview
Engineering Guidance
Models differ in glass pair, focal length, diameter, coating band and detailed surface prescription. For engineering selection, check back focal length, total center thickness, individual element thicknesses and all listed radii in addition to the nominal effective focal length.
Use the actual coating suffix and glass combination when replacing an existing achromat; equal focal length and diameter alone do not guarantee equivalent color correction.
Custom substrate materials, dimensions, angular tolerances and coating bands can be reviewed for prototype and production quantities.
