SO-W12 SERIES
SO-W12 UV fused silica dome windows protect wide-angle detectors, cameras and optical sensors while supporting UV-visible transmission and improved thermal stability.
Product Overview
Engineering Guidance
This material is the stronger dome choice when UV response, low fluorescence or temperature stability is important. The curved profile accommodates a broad viewing envelope, but its diameter, height and wall thickness remain part of the optical design rather than only the enclosure design.
Place the internal lens or detector with respect to the dome center and verify housing clearance. For quantitative imaging, review distortion, concentricity and transmitted wavefront requirements.
Custom substrate materials, dimensions, angular tolerances and coating bands can be reviewed for prototype and production quantities.
