Fused silica offers shorter-wavelength transmission, low fluorescence and improved thermal stability compared with K9 glass. The broad diameter and coating range makes this family suitable for spectroscopy prototypes, UV illumination modules and OEM detector housings.
Choose uncoated versions for broad material transmission or an AR band for higher throughput in a defined range. Move to SO-W06 or SO-W07 when tighter wavefront and surface requirements govern the design.
Custom substrate materials, dimensions, angular tolerances and coating bands can be reviewed for prototype and production quantities.
