SO-P12 SERIES

K9 Pentaprism

SO-P12 K9 pentaprisms deviate a beam by 90 degrees with substantially less sensitivity to small prism rotations than a simple mirror. They are used in metrology, surveying, alignment systems and optical instruments that need a stable right-angle reference.

Product Overview

Control beam deviation and image orientation with K9 Pentaprism

Models are defined by A, B, C and D dimensions, beam-deviation tolerance and coatings on the reflective and entrance/exit faces. Reflective faces use protected aluminum while transmission faces use MgF2 antireflection coating where specified.

A pentaprism fixes beam deviation but does not correct all mounting errors; reference the optical faces and preserve coating orientation in the housing.
