SO-L01 SERIES
SO-L01 uncoated plano-convex lenses provide the underlying K9 geometry without a wavelength-specific antireflection coating. They are suited to optical prototyping, educational setups, low-power experiments and projects that require a customer-specified coating after mechanical and optical validation.
Product Overview
Engineering Guidance
Uncoated K9 surfaces produce higher Fresnel reflection than the coated versions, so this series should not be treated as equivalent in throughput-sensitive or high-power laser systems. Select by diameter, focal length and back focal length, then account for surface reflection in the system loss budget.
Use the uncoated series for early-stage testing, low-cost assemblies or downstream custom coating. Choose a coated SO-L01 version when transmission and stray-reflection control are important.
Custom substrate materials, dimensions, angular tolerances and coating bands can be reviewed for prototype and production quantities.
