SO-P13 SERIES
SO-P13 standard-precision right-angle prisms are made from UV fused silica for 90-degree beam folding and total-internal-reflection layouts in UV-visible optical systems. They provide a compact alternative to a mirror where a stable monolithic geometry is preferred.
Product Overview
Engineering Guidance
Models are differentiated by equal side length, surface quality, angular tolerance and the coating state of the hypotenuse and leg faces. Use the clear beam footprint and required pointing accuracy to choose the prism size.
Use total internal reflection at the hypotenuse only when the external medium and incidence geometry support it; otherwise specify an appropriate reflective coating.
Custom substrate materials, dimensions, angular tolerances and coating bands can be reviewed for prototype and production quantities.
