SO-L11 SERIES
SO-L11 UV fused silica bi-concave lenses provide symmetric negative power for beam expansion and relay-system focal-length control. Their fused-silica substrate supports ultraviolet and visible optical paths while offering low fluorescence and good resistance to thermal variation.
Product Overview
Engineering Guidance
Both surfaces are concave, making the series useful where the incident and emerging conjugates are more balanced than in a plano-concave application. Use the negative focal length, equal-surface radius, back focal length and edge thickness to model the assembly accurately.
For highly asymmetric or collimated-beam layouts, compare the aberration performance with a plano-concave lens before selection.
Custom substrate materials, dimensions, angular tolerances and coating bands can be reviewed for prototype and production quantities.
