SO-L12 SERIES
SO-L12 UV fused silica plano-convex cylindrical lenses focus light in one axis to form a line or reshape an asymmetric beam. Their UV transmission, low fluorescence and thermal stability suit spectroscopy, laser-line generation and ultraviolet beam-conditioning systems.

Engineering Guidance
Choose the rectangular aperture and positive focal length for the required line geometry, then verify radius, back focal length and lens thickness. The powered axis must be rotationally aligned with the source or detector orientation.
For a collimated input beam, orient the curved surface toward the incoming light to reduce spherical aberration in the powered meridian.
Custom substrate materials, dimensions, angular tolerances and coating bands can be reviewed for prototype and production quantities.
